TUAW 網站消息，目前有套能在 iPhone 平台上運作 Newton OS 的模擬器「Einstein Newton」即將正式公開，這套搭載在 Apple 1993年經典產品「Newton MessagePad」裡的系統，據開發者Matthlas Meicher 表示，此套模擬器目前執行效能還有待改善，不過已經有完整的功能。目前此模擬器為open source，未來將提交即將送至 App Store 審查，預計支援 iPhone、iPod touch 以及 iPad 平台。
